Terms and ConditionsService providers are expected to do excellent work without exception. Payment for sloppy work, incomplete work, work that has not been submitted in the proper format, or work that has been submitted after the deadline may be reduced or, in extreme cases, withheld entirely.
Service providers must be willing to reviews and correct any errors found in their work free of charge.
Service providers must provide payment details in order to receive payment. Payments can be made via U.S. check, PayPal, Xoom.com, our can be transferred directly from Green Crescent Translations' accounts to the bank account of the translator. The cost of any money transfers will be incurred by the service provider.
Payments will not be sent via Western Union or any similar service.
Payments will be furnished up to 30 days after all work has been completed and is to the client's satisfaction.
Translators agree to work on a independent contractor or "consulting" basis only and, as such, Green Crescent Translations shall not provide benefits of any type or any guarantee of employment or income beyond mutually agreed upon individual work assignments. By making an offer to add a translator to our database, this does not imply any offer of employment or that work is guaranteed; only that we will contact you at our discretion in the event that work is available.
It is understood by this company that translators sell translation services to us and independent professionals. As such, each translator is responsible for reporting earning and paying taxes in his or her own country. If you are a citizen or legal resident of the United States, you may be required to submit an IRS 1099 form in order to report earnings related to services provided to this company, please consult a specialist for tax advice. All translators agree to hold Green Crescent Translations, its parent company, clients, affiliates, and partners harmless in the event of any loss, damage, or injury of any type resulting from your work or association with Green Crescent translations.
Green Crescent Translations reserves the right to modify these policies at any time.
